Summer story hour starts on Wednesday, July 11, at 10 am. It's especially for pre-schoolers through second graders and their parents or guardians, but everyone is welcome to attend.
You can still sign up for the summer reading program! The theme this year is 'Get a Clue @ Your Library.' The program runs until August 11, with our party on August 18 and the Trolley Museum party on Friday, August 17. We have weekly crafts for those who are signed up.

This year's Library Mega Sale takes place on Saturday, July 21, from 9-2. As in years past, the sale features books, plants and food for sale at the library. But there's a new twist happening with the yard sale portion: This year's sale is taking place in two locations. Diane Gray of Agency 1 Real Estate is coordinating the yard sale portion at the Agency 1 office next to Lakeside Market. It will take place simultaneously with the traditional Mega Sale. All proceeds from the yard sale will go toward the Friends New Library fund, as do the funds from the Mega Sale itself.
