Los Angeles Times Book Review Improved
The LA Times is "rethinking" its "approach to books and book news," says its book editor.
What's new? Happily for online viewers, they've instituted a "rotating cycle of Web-only columns" that include (Confessions of an Idiosyncratic Mind's) Sarah Weinman's 'Dark Passages' column, reviewing mysteries and suspense fiction; Ed Park's science fiction column; Richard Rayner's column on paperbacks; and Sonja Bolle's on children's books. Another feature is 'Jacket Copy,' "a staff-written book news and information column." Check it all out on their new Books page
