Check out the Born to Read Trainers blog, whose focus is childhood (ages 0-5) literacy, children's books, learning to read, and training of child care providers, volunteers, and parents to teach reading to young kids. TODAY SHOW Book Club for Kids
mediabistro reports that the TODAY SHOW is launching a book club on 27 April, called 'Al's Book Club for Kids.' It "will be hosted by weatherman Al Roker, [and] will begin with the first of four books that kids can read throughout the summer. The book club coincides with the Scholastic Summer Reading BUZZ!(tm) Campaign to help get kids reading 'Four or More' books to combat the summer slide.
