Willowbrook Village passes are still available

Passes for 19th Century Willowbrook Village are now available. Each pass is good for up to two adults and two children. One pass may be issued per day, so come in to the library and sign-up, or call and reserve a pass.

Are you interested in joining a book group? We are trying to start a new one this fall. Please contact Ruth if you would like to join the group.Our first meeting is Thursday, October 2nd at 7 pm. Come with your thoughts and ideas.

12:00 pm - Lyme Disease Workshop
Epidemiology is the study of how disease spreads and can be controlled. On Wednesday, October 8th at Noon Lisa DiFedele, Field Epidemiologist, will present a 30-minute educational talk on Lyme disease with plenty of time for your questions. Informational handouts and tick spoons will be available for us to take home. The state of Maine has many resources available on-line about Lyme Disease and tick identification.

Geared to preschoolers, but older siblings are welcome too! Wear your favorite pj's, bring a blanket, pillow, and stuffed animal if you want. Stories, songs, a craft and a bedtime snack round out the evening.
