Rebecca Cummings (1944 - )

Born in South Paris, Cummings attended the Univ. of Maine at Orono where she received her bachelors and masters degrees. Her stories, compiled in Kaisa Kilponen (1985) and Turnip Pie, and Other Stories (1986), center on Maine's Finnish community. She won first place in the 1984 Maine Arts Commission fiction chapbook contest.
